Choosing the right skincare product is not easy. And finding the right products when you hit 60 sometimes seems more complicated. My City Beauty Skin Care Regime

Well you know me always on the search for quality skin care products. Today at 60, I am still most of the time foundation free but I am never moisturizer free. Skin care has mattered to me all my life.

I confess that over the years I have had some very bad skin care habits. I may forget to wash off my eyeshadow before bed, not drink enough water and maybe too much wine, heck I may even bake in the sun but I never forget my cream. In the morning and before bed, I take the time to take care of me. A skincare line that can help the elasticity and maybe reduce a few lines, well sign me up.

I received my City Beauty products back in February and started my new routine in March. It is interesting that a skin care regime can do so much more than just care for your skin. For me the routine is almost a from of relaxation, a meditative routine that helps start and end my day.

Today I am only talking about the City Beauty products that I amusing but I it should be noted that I also use a base serum,an under eye cream and a face moisturizer daily, in addition to an SPF tint. So let’s go through what I am using shall we?

Serums:

I start my morning routine with an all over serum and my jade roller. And then I apply the Uplift Firming Serum designed to provide a firmer, younger look.

This serum can be applied to the face and neck but honestly I have focused on my neck and a dab on my cheeks for the past two months. It is intended to “recharge” the skin’s appearance — creating a dramatic lifting effect.

Lid Lifting Treatment

Lid Lifting Treatment is intended to nourish and energize the skin to lift and firm the appearance of saggy eyelids, while instantly softening the look of fine lines and wrinkles.

I use my ring finger to dab a small amount on each eyelid. While I don’t have droopy eyelids yet, i use this for a preventative measure. Plus it helps improve fine lines.

Line Blurring Wrinkle Treatment

Line-Blurring Wrinkle Filler is an intensive spot treatment that fills in creases and instantly blurs the look of wrinkles. I apply this to my upper lip. I have a few what I consider deeper lines above my lip from my misspent youth. Yes I smoked from age 19-40 and that took a toll, plus years of ” straw drinking” .

Invisi Crepe Body Balm

If feels great and smells delicious, I apply morning and night and have noticed a marked improvement in those areas.

City Lips^® is a plumping lip gloss that provides both an immediate and long-term solution for your lips. This is perfect for hydrating and nourishing my lips. One small draw back, it is sticky so in windy conditions you want to make sure it is used under your “stick” not over.

City Beauty After Two Months

Two Months after using the products that I received from City Beauty I was starting to notice a difference. My skin felt smooth and there was an improvement in elasticity. I cannot tell if fine lines were disappearing but they weren’t getting worse.

My normal routine, if you want to call it a routine, prior to March was strictly water, no soap, and a few creams to nourish my skin. I focused on a night cream before bed and a day cream in the morning (and always SPF).

It should be stated, that I am a fussy gal, so I don’t want flowery and I don’t want greasy, but I do not want to feel the awful tightness that sometimes happens. Plus floral scents are a no no to me. So what is my verdict? A skin care line that lives up to it’s promise. My skin immediately soaked in the serum, the creams felt velvety smooth not greasy. Plus I know have a very strict routine that I will be sticking to.
