Peppermint Chocolate Covered Oreos – A Labour of Life

Stretching for Seniors

OK Don’t hate me, I know we are still recovering from our Christmas baking sprees but how about some Valentine’s Day treats. Sharing a Valentine’s Day Peppermint Chocolate Covered Oreo treat that didn’t last long in my home.  Not only are they pretty and festive they are scrumptious.

Plus they are so quick and easy to make that the little ones can help.

Normally we are out of town celebrating the heart day. We have my Birthday, Anniversary and Valentine’s all within two weeks plus it is one of the coldest times in Ottawa, so yes we usually head out on a cruise or all inclusive warm vacation.

Looks like 2024 will be a cold celebration so I want something to make me warm inside.  Plans for a romantic dinner for two (plus Lou) are underway.  And I thought maybe trying a new dessert might be in order. Oreo decadency seemed a fitting way to start the year. Normally I would be looking at a Delicious Cake or maybe Rocky Road Squares but I just happened to have some Oreos as well as some crushed peppermint on hand. Enter a quick and easy treat.
