I learned how to change my morning routine which can change your life!

Changing your morning routine can help you live your best life. It’s not just a new way of doing things, it’s a mindset shift.

Most people are just getting started when it comes to their morning routines, but by making small changes, you can create massive results.

When you wake up in the morning, there’s an amazing energy that you can feel, which is why the right morning routine can literally change your life.

Most people wake up to their alarm clock every day, turn on their phone, eat breakfast, and then they start their day.

In this article, we’ll discuss how to change your morning routine by making small changes, and how you can create massive results.  To further inspire you, I shall also provide sample morning routines and quotes and daily affirmations to say as part of your morning routine.

Why a Morning Ritual is Important

Why a morning ritual is important?

You might find yourself asking, “How can a morning ritual or routine change my life?”

A ritual is simply something that you do every day. It can be anything from brushing your teeth to saying your morning prayers.

In most cases, rituals are deeply ingrained into our culture. Even though many of us have lost touch with the importance of rituals, they can still be incredibly powerful and transformative.

For example, if you’re an entrepreneur, having a morning ritual can help you set your mindset and focus for the rest of your day. If you’re a musician, your morning ritual can help you prepare for your performance. If you’re a blogger, having a morning ritual can help you write more effectively.

One of the most single important things that I have found that you can do to change your life and be happy and productive for the rest of the day is by having an empowering morning routine.

Now when I wake up in the morning, I have a strong sense of self, confidence, and the drive to achieve goals. My routine has helped me develop my mind, body, and spirit.

How to Start Your Day, Make Your Bed, Move Your Body & Change Your Life

How to start your day, make your bed, move your body and change your life.

I know, I know… how many of you right now consistently wake up feeling groggy, uninspired and unmotivated?  You simply wake up and literally are a ‘walking zombie’ going thru the motions of taking a shower, getting dressed, drink a quick cup of coffee and then rush off to your 9 to 5 daily grind?

What if I told you you could change all of that!  What if, instead, you wake up with energy and vitality to take on the day… to look forward to all that you wish to accomplish?  What if you did change your routine and started feeling happy.

Because when you are happy, you’re simply more focused, more energetic and just overall more productive.

My advice is simple:

“Wake Up, Get Up and Show Up Every Morning & Change Your Life!”

Beth Elkassih

What is a Good Morning Routine?

What is a good morning routine?

A good morning routine should help you start your day with a clear head, motivation, and most importantly a new perspective.

By changing your routine you will also be able to change your life and get out of your comfort zone.

What do I mean by a good morning routine?

Your morning routine should set you up for the day, and help you get a jumpstart on your day.

You should be focused, motivated, and ready to go.

Simple good morning habits and tips will help set up your personal self-care routine.

Some of the world’s most admired, creative and successful people depend on their morning seroutines to make sure their days are as productive and successful as possible.

So the next you hit the snooze button on your alarm, you may try out one or two of the following:

Per CNN Health:

1. Set your alarm to work for you — not against you

2. Breathe in the new day

3. Drink a full glass of water first thing before coffee

4. Move your body in all directions

5. Make time to exercise

6. Set your mind right

7. Cultivate an attitude of gratitude

How to Make Your Morning Ritual a Habit

Our habits drive all of our daily routines.

One of the things I want to make understood… a habit is something you do every single day that acts as the foundation with which you can lay everything else on top.

In fact, psychology states that it takes ’21 consecutive days’ repeating a habit or ritual to make it a habit, or one that is done on ‘automatic pilot’.

Try to plan your morning routine habits with these 4 pillars in mind:

plan my morning routine around 4 key pillars:

  1. health; exercise, water
  2. learning; reading, watching
  3. relaxing; meditation, stretching
  4. reflection; journaling, planning, creating a daily to-do list

And to start your morning routine, is simply making the intentional choice and just start.

Our habits drive all of our daily routines.

Per Courtney Carver,  author of the blog, “breakthetwitch”, she states the following on how to start the day:

“A consistent morning routine can …

  • fuel your creativity first thing in the morning
  • strengthen your muscles
  • quiet your mind
  • soothe your soul
  • help you focus
  • alleviate decision fatigue
  • refresh with at least 7 hours of sleep
  • make you more loving and lovable

The best thing about a morning routine is that you can start anytime and you can always come back to it. If you are ready for more energy, clarity and love, trade your snooze button for a morning routine.”
