Learn to Let Go of Feeling Stuck

Learn to Let Go of Feeling Stuck

The only person who can move you forward is you. No one else can do it for you. The only way you can move forward is if you take control and decide that you’re moving forward.

You don’t need to feel bad about having a past that you regret. You don’t need to feel bad about making a mistake that you’d like to change.

You don’t need to live with regrets, but you can’t move forward if you’re constantly looking back at the past.

If you’re still looking back at the past, you’re doing nothing but reliving that time. You’re reliving the good times, the bad times, and the moments you’d rather forget.

So… if you find yourself feeling stuck, you need to perhaps take a step back, learn from the life experience you had… then make a ‘plan of action’ to move two steps forward.  Reclaim your life and power thru whatever has you glued to your past!

Getting Out of Your Own Way & Pushing Forward

Getting out of your own way and pushing forward.

We all go through tough times, and the fact of the matter is… we need to realize to learn how getting out of own way is necessary.

Sometimes we just need to let go of our old habits and embrace a new mindset. The problem with the past is that it prevents you from moving forward.

You may think you’re in a place where you can’t do anything new, but I’m here to tell you that’s not true.

We don’t move forward in life because of our own fears and insecurities. We’re afraid of making mistakes, we’re afraid of being embarrassed, we’re afraid of being judged, and we’re afraid of rejection.

But you don’t have to keep living in the past. You don’t have to continue to live in fear. You don’t have to be scared to fail.

You can get out of your own way, and you can push forward.

Stop Holding Onto Negative Emotions

Stop holding onto negative emotions.

Life happens. Whether you’re getting divorced, breaking up with someone, or dealing with other issues, there are times when it’s easier to focus on the negative rather than the positive.

When you’re holding onto a negative emotion, it will always keep you in the same place. If you’re angry with someone, you won’t be able to move on.

You know what you need to do, but life gets in the way. How do you move forward with your life and let go of what’s not  working?

What’s more, it’s much easier to hold on to these emotions than to let them go.

It’s important to understand that you can’t just let emotions out. You can’t just throw your feelings out like a piece of trash.

Instead, you need to learn to let them go.

You need to learn how to manage your emotions, and you need to do this so that you can move forward.

In the following sections, I’ll share some tips to help you move forward with life and let go of the negative.

How to Take Action to Keep Moving Forward

How to take action to keep moving forward.

In order to move forward with our life, we first need to ask ourselves these 8 questions:

1. What is it that you want?

It’s common to want to move forward in life, but what does it really mean to you? What do you want?

2. What are you willing to sacrifice?

Do you want to move forward in life, or do you just want to live comfortably?

3. What is your biggest fear?

What is stopping you? If you’re afraid of failure, what are you afraid will happen if you fail?

4. Who are you afraid will leave you?

Who are the people who have already left you? What happened when they left? What did you learn from that experience?

5. How can you start?

What’s the first step you can take to move forward?

6. Who can you talk to?

How can you connect with others who are facing the same challenges?

7. How can you build?

What resources can you draw from to get moving?

8. How can you grow?

What can you do to help yourself grow?

Remember one thing…

You’re human. That’s all we can do as humans. We’re not perfect.

There will always be something to let go of, and you’ll feel better once you take the first step.

10 Ways to Move Forward to Live a Happy Life

8 Ways to Move Forward to Live a Happy Life

1. Accept Your Past

Acceptance is the most important step towards moving forward. We all have past mistakes that haunt us.

If you’re still feeling ashamed or embarrassed by something from the past, then it’s time to let go.

Just be aware that you might feel bad at times. If you think that you’re holding on to something that is hurting you, then you should consider letting it go.

2. Be Grateful

As much as we try to change our lives, we can’t always control what happens in life.

It’s a fact that some people are born into situations that they’ll never escape.

Be grateful that you have the opportunity to change your life.

3. Stop Self-Sabotaging

Sometimes we sabotage ourselves.

We do things that hurt us, even though we know it’s a mistake.

If you find yourself doing this, it’s time to stop.

4. Be Open-Minded

We tend to be more judgmental when it comes to other people than we are about ourselves.

When you have an open mind, you’ll see that everyone makes mistakes, and they can learn from their mistakes.

5. Don’t Focus on the Past

If you’re still obsessing about something from the past, you’re making it worse.

You’re only adding stress to your life.

Instead, focus on the future.

6. Think About What You Want

What do you really want?

Do you want to change your life for the better?

If so, then start by thinking about what you want.

7. Make a Change

Start small.

Don’t try to change everything at once.

Start by taking small steps, and you’ll soon notice a difference.

8. Reconnect Your ‘Why’

Perhaps you’ve lost sight of the bigger picture and what’s important in your life. You’ve lost your ‘why.’

By reminding yourself of your original intention and purpose, it gives you the intrinsic motivation to get back on track and move ahead.

9. Change Your Mindset

Instead of focusing all your attention and effort on one problem, shift your focus and attention to another part of your life.

It’s up to you to shift your mood and state. By doing this, you’ll be able to feel and experience more hope and possibility.  One way to start this process finding gratitude in all the small things in your life.

10. Start a ‘Plan of Action’

No one can say it better than Tony Robbins:

The path to success is to take massive, determined action.” — Tony Robbins

There’s no substitute to start major momentum to go your way but by taking actual action. Action creates further action, while inactivity creates stagnation, self-doubt, and confusion.

Just remember… successful people are constantly pushing out of their comfort zone, which is why they continuously become more successful.
