Last Updated on 2024-09-08 by Linda

Welcome to Happiness is Homemade 549- Linda here from A Labour of Life and this is week 2 of my hosting the Happiness Is Homemade Link Party for September. We are almost at the end of the Summer and that means , Pumpkin Spice and everything nice.

It’s crazy the creator world has skipped Fall and gone straight to Halloween if my Instagram account is anything to go by, but I want to celebrate a little bit of Fall first.

It’s crazy September use to signal the end of the season but the last several years it has been a bit on the drier side and very warm, so beautiful as we begin to welcome fall.  What’s your September weather like where you are?

It’s time to get to this week’s party – simply scroll down to see all the posts that have been linked up by our participating bloggers!

Happiness is Homemade 549 Features

fall tablescape

It will surprise none of you that have been linking up for a while that my first feature is a beautiful Fall Tablescape. The Painted Apron has shared a lovely start of Fall table featuring Sunflowers and black checks. I need to try something similar

fALL SIMMER POT

Next up from Out in My Nest is this aromatic simmer pot. This is the coziest fall simmer pot to make your home smell so good and feel warm.

We are heading into fall and cozy season. One of my favorite things to do is simmer a nice simmer pot and make the house smell amazing. This one reminds me of coffee cake or like you are sitting in a cozy coffee house with Rory Gilmore in your favorite cableknit sweater.

bell decor

A Day of Small Things has incorporated Back to School into her Fall decor and I love it. You can feel fall creeping in around the edges and my back to school decor always sets the tone beautifully

banana bread

How delicious does this a slice of warm banana bread from Ducks in a Row sound? Imagine coming home from school or work to the wonderful scent of banana bread in the air.  The only thing better is if it is chocolate chip walnut banana bread!  Now, that is a treat! This recipe is simple to make. You will love it!

au gratin potatoes

And finally a SIDE feature, How delicious do these Pumpkin Oatmeal Cookies from Rose Bakes look?Easy Instant Pot Au Gratin Potatoes are easy, cheesy, and delicious! I absolutely love how much time I save by making these cheesy potatoes in my pressure cooker! They are the perfect side dish with layers of potatoes, a creamy sauce, and your favorite seasonings!
